I put in at the Paradise Island ramp at about 11:30 this morning. The tide was already pretty high and rising. I fished with some new Z-Man plastics, a crab and a grub, that look pretty good. I tried some old faithful spots, but nothing was biting. I didn't see any evidence of fish in the area. I paddled around and tried several spots until about 2:30.
It was a nice day on the water. Wind picked up at about 1:30 or 2.

If I go out tomorrow, I plan to get some live bait and some scent for the Z-Man lures. I reached for my Gulp and realized it was in my other tackle bag.

This is some of the hardest fishing I have seen. I didn't see any bait or fish (other than the black drum the guy in the jon boat was catching on clams) either day.

Try the Pro Cure scents with the Z-Man plastics - Haddrell's and The Charleston Angler are now stocking it.  The stuff works great and is actually absorbed by the ElaZtech material.

I used the Pro-Cure on day two. I stopped at Angler in Mt P first - they didn't have any bait or Pro Cure and didn't know what Pro Cure was.  I picked up some Procure at Haddrell's. It is on sale in the Tidelines paper, but there wasn't a sale sign in the store. I used my discount and it was about the same as the sale price would have been.
I put two drops in the grub. I fished the grub mostly. I tried the crab on day one and half of day two, then I realized that I hadn't seen any crabs all day either day. They are nice baits. No matter how good the bait is, if there aren't any fish, they won't be caught.
