just got my gear ready for thursday afternoon anyone planning on shad fishing this is some of the stuff i would recomend if you have never been

1/32nd ounce jig heads in chartruece and hot pink
curly tail and double tailed grubs chartruece
also some chartruece grubs with hot pink tails
i like to have some tiny spinners to add to my jig heads so i always carry a few you never know i like to put them on with a tiny coark  at the top of the water and kind of work it like you would do a cajun thunder coark it will keep your bait in the strike zone longer.

the rods i use are walmart cheapies  had the same ones for years just bought one more cause there is 3 of us going 4 ft ultra lights with tiny reels and 4 to 6 lb test allows you to fling the tiny jigs better and more fun fighting the fish.  these rods are 20 bucks at wally world and all the other stuff came from there also just cause its right by the house haddrells also has everything and can help you pick it out

good luck if you go let me know if you wack them i will report thursday afternoon
